This was probably our favorite resort of our stay in Hawaii. We spent only a couple nights, but loved the design of the resort. The lobby/restaurant/bar is all open air and has great views of the ocean/pool. The staff was super friendly and helpful the whole stay. As compared to the other resorts that we stayed at, we appreciated that a lot of things (activities, rentals, etc.) were included instead of charging you for every little thing.

The hotel main lobby is spacious and welcoming. It features a lot of open-to-the outdoor areas where you can relax and watch the sunset. The rooms are average: small, nothing special, just a room. They seem over-priced, but I guess everything is in the island. There are good hotel amenities including great pools, beach access, and hotel staff who are willing to help you plan out your stay. I'd say overall this is a good hotel, but if the pricing was better would be considered 'great'.

The infinity pool is a little cold, but there are plenty of hot tubs and lounging area in the sun.

The concierge service is contracted out to 'Expedia Local Guides'. They are very knowledgeable of the island and are always eager to help.

Beautiful and comfortable. Love the grounds and beach here ! Beds are very comfy. First time I came I was greeted by a very nice front desk lady named Debbie she made me feel Welcomed and made sure that I had everything that I asked for a check in. It was the best customer experience I have had at a Marriott. I was very impressed with her customer service skills and enjoyed myself at the hotel great place I would return

Overall I highly recommend this hotel!

The open air Lanai restaurant next the the main lobby is really spectacular, especially at sunset.

If you like resorts, this is definitely worth your time. The rooms and spacious and well designed. The only gripe I have is there is no stove. The refrigerator is large and the main table is definitely big enough for board games or large family meals. Each section of the suite has its own balcony angled towards the ocean. However, the balconies are small.

The beach is very, very calm - great for swimming and easy paddle boarding. The reef about 500 yards off shore is spectacular.

This was the perfect choice for family of four. Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff that really seems to care that the guests have a good experience. Food is good and the pool and beach setup are great for kids and adults. It is such a good setup that we had to push ourselves to leave and explore some of the wonderful beaches and attractions on the island. I would say the only real down side is the relatively poor snorkeling we experienced at this beach in comparison to others but there was a lot to do regardless.

Also, the royal fishing ponds between the hotel and the beach are fun to look at and the fish jump at sunset everyday.
