We overheard some other tourists (American, think from Arizona maybe) talk about how they had to go to Roys - and being from Australia, we decided to do that, and so glad we did! Great, friendly service! The decor is quite dated, however the food was AMAZING... the butterfish was melt in your mouth perfection!! Definitely go here!
We have always liked Roy’s in Waikiki and Hawaii Kai the best but this location was very good with excellent food quality and service.
The employees were very nice and the food was really delicious. Although the price is slightly higher, I don't feel like it's worth it. Satisfied entirely.

Excellent experience. I can only speak of drinks, dessert and staff. The after dinner drinks are excellent in taste and quantity for the money! Dessert is worth the wait for sure. We shared each of the hot desserts and the birthday boy, our 4 year old got a special cookie and ice cream treat!
The staff!!! We were all craving fish and chips for dinner so we went elsewhere for that but Roy's staff allowed us to make reservations on a busy night even knowing that we were only coming for dessert. They were so friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than our reservation and they already had our table waiting.
