One of the best restaurants I have dined at. My wife and I tried it on a whim one night as we were staying at a resort right down the street, now it's a must Everytime we stay on the big island. Great food, awesome staff have never had a bad dish. If they have the lasagna in the menu it's a must
Service has been terrible, tonight we waited over 2 hours for our food. The management made every excuse to not take care of us. We told her we have been waiting for over 2 hours for our food and were told "she just got there and she doesn't know what to tell us". Then once we got our food it was cold like it was sitting in the kitchen for an hour and nobody felt like bringing it to us. We ate here about once a week, but the past few months has been experiences like this one so we'll take our business elsewhere.
The food was so great and fresh. The bartender Jessi was great and made an awesome drink. Waitress Courtney was great and always smiling. She gave great recommendations. We will be returning customers. Enjoyed our date night.
I am really torn between 2 or 3 star. The food is good but service ia horrible. I ordered their fresh fish. The fish was good but the combination with grapefruit was not. Grapefruit was too overpowering for the fish. Their pizza is very good and the chocolate torte was excellent.
So that was the good part. When it comes to service I felt that none of them really know what they were doing. The host was super unorganized, she made us wait 10 min to sit. I don't mind waiting but while we were waiting i had no idea what was going on. Then comes the server, she was nice and helpful but she kept us waiting 20 min just to take the order, a straw came after 15 min, appetizer after another 15 and finally the pizza I don't know when. And it goes on and on finally we spend 2 hours there.
Great food and service. Slightly on the expensive side for mains but anticipated for the quality and being on the island.
