This was a great family activity and all three of us truly enjoyed meeting a few of the dolphins up close. Megan was fantastic and allowed all participants equal time and gave us a variety of activities. We opted for the ‘go-pro’ video and skipped the pictures. The video was available on Dropbox well within 24 hours and the download was simple enough. If you have the funds, we highly recommend this activity for education and enjoyment.
It was a great experience for my husband and I! We loved meeting all the dolphins, and because it was the off season we had only 2 other people in our group! The max they ever have in a group is 6 - but with only 4 people we didn't have to "take turns" as much. We met several of their dolphins, and the young dolphin in the tank decided to do some jumps on his own (as in no one told him to do it, he just did it). Lots of fun! They take great pictures too, a little pricey but we are glad that we have ours. The trainers are great and know what they are doing.
This was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had. I did the trainer for a day program (with baby dolphins!) in Waikoloa and it surpassed my expectations. The amount of hands on training, enrichment, and education I had with the dolphins was amazing. The entire staff (especially Sarah & Megan, who “held my hand” most of the day) was extremely friendly and could not have made the experience any better for me. I highly recommend any dolphin experience here... you won’t be disappointed!
The Dolphin Quest was wonderful! We did the sea quest. During the snorkeling portion, we saw many tropical fish and about 6 sea turtles. The James Bond sea racers were awesome! The dolphin encounter was everything we were expecting and much more. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and more than happy to fully answer all questions. It's a must do when your on the island.
The only negative is that you do have to use a snorkeling mask for a short period, and it's not the best quality mask. But this didn't really detract from the experience at all.
It was an unique experience for my son on his birthday. The staff was very helpful and informative. The stars of the show - the dolphins, didn't disappoint. It's a good place just to sit and watch them play around too.
